The Ramatici family has provided insurance to the people and businesses of the greater Petaluma area for years. As their insurance business grew the company relocated to accommodate the ever-increasing number of employees. Sons Paul and John Ramatici recognized the wisdom in owning their headquarters building. Paul Ramatici and John Ramatici are dedicated to carrying on their father Don's work in the community and wanted a new building that was sophisticated but understated.
They hired Mahoney Architects to create this new 12,000 square foot facility. The building is prominently located on Highway 101 with prominent front and rear facades. The building has perimeter private offices and a large open central work area for the sale staff. The roof is raised over this central area to interrupt the vast ceiling, as well as providing natural light to the interior of the building through clerestory windows. The offices are laid out to accommodate the many facets of the firm - accounting, sales and management.
In addition to the offices the facility has restrooms and a lunch room shared with sub-tenant Charles Schwab. A lovely outdoor trellised patio is an amenity for the staff to get away from the rigors of their day to day job. The patio also serves as a pleasant outdoor meeting area.
